Pueblos indígenas en la Argentina: Problemas y perspectivas de estudio
In 2024, the EDGES project, in collaboration with the Centro de Estudios Socioterritoriales, de Identidades y de Ambiente (CESIA-EIDAES) and the Núcleo de Estudios de Pueblos Indígenas (NESPI-IDAES-UNSAM), organized an extension mini-course focused on advancing critical and interdisciplinary approaches to Indigenous studies. The mini-course, Indigenous Peoples in Argentina: Problems and Perspectives of Study, was delivered by the team from the Universidad Nacional de San Martín (UNSAM, Argentina) and forms part of the EDGES project’s scientific communication efforts.
Structured in three modules, the course offers a critical and interdisciplinary perspective on Indigenous peoples in Argentina, addressing historical processes, Indigenous ways of producing history, intercultural education, territorialities, as well as issues of health and gender in contemporary Indigenous contexts.
